Lexie
Ford-Ramos
Lexie Ford-Ramos serves as an associate attorney at Lira Bravo Law. She has handled family-based and humanitarian applications, naturalization and citizenship cases, removal defense, and agency-delay lawsuits. She particularly enjoys advocating for clients through appeals and crafting legal arguments for eligibility despite criminal history or unique fact patterns.
Born and raised in Garland, Texas, Lexie grew up in a diverse community with a strong immigrant presence. From a young age, she volunteered with her family at Hope International Adoption Agency, a small nonprofit, where she became aware of the challenges faced by children around the world. This early exposure to humanitarian work helped shape her passion for immigration law and advocacy. Despite not being a native Spanish-speaker, Lexie is proficient in Spanish from years of formal education, on-the-job practice, and marrying into a Mexican family.
Lexie graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University School of Law, where she participated in the Immigrant Rights Clinic and published “A Reasonable Possibility of Refoulement: The Inadequacies of Procedures to Protect Vulnerable Noncitizens from Return to Persecution, Torture, or Death” in the Texas A&M Law Review. She is admitted to the Texas Bar and all four federal district courts in Texas. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University, where she graduated with highest honors.
Residing in Rockwall, Texas, Lexie enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Finn and Beau.
